The Martin Luther King Jr. Library is committed to
providing services that will fulfill the mission
of the MLK Church in proclaiming the Gospel to reach people for Jesus
Christ and to minister in His name.
Our Library will provide media resources and services to support
Auxiliaries, Ministries and
Individual Members of our Church Community.
The MLK
Church Library will extend His love by providing friendly service,
innovative experiences and a
Pleasing atmosphere that will offer/inspire opportunities to Encounter
Jesus Christ.

scholarship established in honor of the Beloved Pastor of the
MLK Church for 21 years, Rev. Dr. Leon C. Jones and his
wife
Sister Rubye Jones, for high school seniors achieving

(3.20 Cumulative GPA or higher).

Scholarship: Rev. Bruce Dewayne Jenkins
Purpose:
Assist High School Graduates who plan to continue their education at a
Post-Secondary Institution with a monetary Scholarship.
Highlights of Specific Scholarship Guidelines:

Must have been a member of the MLK Church during the past 3 years
or
affiliated with another church.
¨
Must have a minimum 2.75 Cumulative GPA.
